The Indiana Genealogical Society has added several databases to the Members Only area of its website:
College Records
--Faculty of Indiana State Normal School, Terre Haute (1925)--a listing of the school's faculty, as found in a 1925 yearbook. Indiana State Normal School later became Indiana State University.
--Students of Indiana Central College, Indianapolis (1929-1932)--a listing of the students from the classes of 1929 through 1932, as found in a 1929 yearbook. Indiana Central College later became the University of Indianapolis.
County Records
--Directory of Businesses in DeKalb County, Indiana (1868)--a listing of business owners in various towns in DeKalb County, as found in a railroad and shipping directory for the state.
--Directory of Businesses in Jay County, Indiana (1868)--a listing of business owners in various towns in Jay County, as found in a railroad and shipping directory for the state.
--Directory of Businesses in Switzerland County, Indiana (1868)--a listing of business owners in various towns in Switzerland County, as found in a railroad and shipping directory for the state.
Military Records
--Roster of 2nd Indiana Battery in the Civil War (1861-1865)--a listing of the soldiers in the 2nd Indiana Battery (Light Artillery), as compiled from Volumes III, VII and VIII of Report of The Adjutant General of The State of Indiana (1869). The 2nd Indiana Battery was organized in Indianapolis.
These are all premium databases, accessible only to IGS members. The Indiana Genealogical Society has 286 databases in the Members Only area, covering 62 Indiana counties. More databases will be added over time.
