The Genealogy Center of the Allen County Public Library in Fort Wayne will hold a free class, "Tallying The Census: Counting Down Its Uses," on Tuesday, March 18 from 2 to 3 pm in the library's Meeting Room A. Melissa Shimkus will discuss how to mine all the data from census records, including the importance of the non-population schedules that were taken at the same time as the census records. This class is part of the library's annual "March Madness - Genealogy Style."
