New Book About Civil War Regiment from Northeastern Indiana

Spencerville resident Margaret Hobson has authored a follow-up book about the 44th Indiana Infantry, which was made up of residents of northeastern Indiana and mustered at Camp Allen in Fort Wayne. The Voice of Indiana's 44th Regiment, Part 2: Formation and Photos contains over 250 photos of its men, as well as biographies of the officers and transcripts of court martials.
