State Library To Discuss Use of Maps in Genealogy Research
The Indiana State Library in Indianapolis will hold a program, "Maps in Genealogy," on Tuesday, July 12 from 10 to 11 am in the library's History Reference Room. You'll learn about the various kinds of maps that can help you in your geenalogy research, including plat maps, county maps and Sanborn Fire Insurance Company maps. This program is free and open to the public.
