State Library To Discuss Federal Records
The Indiana State Library in Indianapolis will hold a free program, "Grandpa Was A Soldier: Federal Documents As Biographical Sources," on Tuesday, October 26 from noon to 1 pm in the library's Indiana Author's Room. You'll learn about the types of documents available if your ancestor worked for the federal government (whether in the military or as a civilian), and what sort of information you can find about them. No registration is required - for more information, visit www.in.gov/library/events.htm or call (317) 232-3675.
