Basic Genealogy Course Offered in Hamilton County

The Carmel Clay Historical Society in Carmel, Indiana is offering a basic genealogy course beginning Wednesday, January 7, 2009 from 9:30 to 11:30 am. This 5-week course, entitled "Finding Family," will be taught by Sue Dillon and will meet weekly through February 4, 2009. Classes will be held in the meeting room of Monon East at Central Park. Participants will learn about various genealogical sources as well as how to search websites, including subscription sites such as Ancestry.com. The cost is $20 for CCHS members, $25 for non-members.
