The Genealogy Center of the Allen County Public Library in Fort Wayne will hold a free class, "Using Tax Records in Genealogical Research," on Wednesday, March 19 from 10 to 11 am in the library's Meeting Room A. John Beatty will discuss the many different kinds of American tax records (both federal and local) and explain how they can serve as census substitutes and allow you to solve difficult problems in your research. This class is part of the library's annual "March Madness - Genealogy Style."
This event is free - to register, e-mail Genealogy@ACPL.Info or call (260) 421-1225.
