Query: Eden, Thomas; Delaware County

            I am looking for any information on a Joseph Harlan "Bad Eye"  Eden, b. January 5, 1888,  in Ashland, Clark Co., Kansas.  He married Lelia Thomas on September 15, 1909, in Delaware Co., IN.  Joseph lived in the Muncie, IN, area from 1900 to 1922, and was a known petty criminal with the alias of "Bad Eye", Charles Jones, and Harley Eden.
            Joseph was arrested in Muncie for auto theft, and had bench warrants and jail time in the Delaware county jail.  After 1922 he is lost to family history, but it is rumored he was shot and killed during a robbery possibly in the state of Arkansas. 
            His wife Lelia Eden (nee Thomas), b. January 24, 1891 in Donerail, Fayette, KY,

d. October 7, 1919, in Liberty Township, Muncie, Delaware, IN.  Lelia died at the Delaware County Infirmary, of septic edema which may have caused a natural abortion per her death certificate.  Lelia and Joseph had four children: Madison F. Eden, b. June 15, 1910 in Indiana,d. June 21, 1978 in Somerset, Pulaski, KY, Walter Frank Eden, b. November 30, 1916 in Muncie, Delaware, IN, d. October 23, 1974 in IL, Laurabelle Eden, b.  November 3, 1914 in Muncie, Delaware, IN, d. February 25, 1970 in Muncie, Delaware, IN, and Alvin Eden, b.  May 5, 1912 in Munice, IN, d. April 20, 1961 in Shelbyville, Shelby, IN.

            All four of their children were sent to the Delaware County Children's Home per the 1920 U.S. Federal Census. At least one of the children spent 10 years at the home. Lelia Thomas was my grand aunt.
