The Indiana Genealogical Society has added a free database of a Monroe County court records index to the County Records section of our Members Only area:

Thank you to the Monroe County History Center in Bloomington, which has kindly shared this index. This database is free to the public - no membership is needed in order to view it.
The Indiana Genealogical Society now has 864 databases in the Members Only area. Each of Indiana's 92 counties has at least 3 databases.
I am confused about the access of Indiana society court records. You have mentioned that these are available for member only, so how can I access the updated list?
ReplyDeleteRichard - we apologize for any confusion you experienced. Our Members Only area contains a number of databases that are free to the public - including this Monroe County court records index.
