The Indiana African American Genealogy Group will meet on Saturday, July 17 from noon to 3 pm at the Eiteljorg Museum in Indianapolis. The speaker will be Vicki Casteel, visual collections archivist for the Indiana Historical Society, who will discuss dating and storing old photographs. Preceding Casteel’s presentation will be an hour dedicated to research and education. IAAGG member Nancy Wysinger will expand on the topic of the group’s June meeting, providing more insight on placing genealogical research in historical context.
Parking is free at the Eiteljorg Museum in the underground White River State Park garage. The meeting is open to the public.
