Indiana Cemeteries Registry Nears 10-Year Mark

The Indiana Department of Natural Resources' Division of Historic Preservation and Archeology (DHPA)'s Cemetery and Burial Ground Registry is nearing its 10-year anniversary. The registry aims to record the locations of all of the cemeteries and burial grounds in Indiana and place that information in a database, which will eventually be placed online. According to this article, there are already 20,000 cemeteries in the database.
