Allen County Cemetery Bought At Auction

According to this article in Fort Wayne's Journal-Gazette, the land believed to have been the site of the Evangelical Lutheran Church Cemetery in Adams Township, Allen County, Indiana was sold at an auction on March 23. The 5 acre site was thought to have been a cemetery in the mid-1800's, with about 40 burials, but little evidence remains today. Fort Wayne resident Don Stinson paid $10,000 at the auction for the land, and intends to restore the cemetery and then donate it to the Adams Township Trustee.
