The latest progress report for the Indiana Marriage Indexing Project shows that volunteers have almost finished the batches available for Adams County and Blackford County, and have also started working on the batches available for Carroll County:
Adams County (1811-1959)--87.20% complete
Allen County (1811-1959)--21.88% complete
Blackford County (1811-1959)--99.33% complete
Carroll County (1811-1959)--4.19% complete
Indiana marriage records (1882-April 1905)--96.32% complete
More volunteers are always welcome!
I have been enjoying indexing the Indiana Allen county marriages. I have been surprised at how segegated the ethnic groups are in 1920. So many of the marriages are people from German descent, whereas my family history takes me to LaPorte and Porter counties where there are so many from Polish descent.
