State Library To Discuss Its Porter-Griffin Family Collection
The Indiana State Library in Indianapolis will hold a program, "The Porter-Griffin Papers," on Thursday, May 28 from 9 to 10 am in their Indiana Authors Room. Marcia Caudell, Reference & Government Services Collection Librarian, will talk about the keys to American political and social history found in this collection held by the State Library. This collection includes the business records, political correspondence, and legal and personal papers of the Porter family's daughters and their descendants from 1845 to 1940.This program is free and open to the public.
