Elkhart Hosts Genealogy Workshop

The Elkhart County Genealogical Society (http://www.rootsweb.com/~inelkhar/ecgs.htm) will hold their annual Genealogy Workshop on October 27 from 9 am to 3 pm at the Rush Memorial Center (304 Vistula St., Bristol IN). Shirley Gage Hodges will be the featured speaker. Her topics include:

• "Maps, Gazetteers, and Directories"
• "Church Records"
• "Newspapers: A Valuable Research Tool"
• "The Internet: Blessings and Curses"

Registration is $25.00 if received before October 24; otherwise it will be $28.00. Registration includes morning coffee, snacks, and lunch.
